Job Description:
We are currently seeking passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to join our dynamic team. As an SLP at Wee Care Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse caseload of clients, providing tailored therapeutic interventions to address speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine clients' needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Provide individualized direct therapy services to clients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, to ensure holistic care.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Educate clients and their families on strategies to enhance communication skills.
Stay current with research, best practices, and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
State licensure and ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification.
Clinical fellowship or relevant experience for entry-level positions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Specialized experience in areas such as pediatric speech therapy, adult neurogenic disorders, or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Knowledge of assistive technology and innovative therapy techniques.
Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
