**Responsibilities**

The Patient Account Representative II is responsible for providing timely and efficient follow-up to all parties necessary to resolve any issues related to patient billing consistent with the mission and philosophy of CHW Medical Foundation. Three years minimum experience of administrative and/or customer service in a professional medical billing office. Understanding of professional claims and billing procedures. 6 Month experience with IDX High School diploma required or GED. Ability to read and explain an explanation of benefits (EOB) for HMO and FFS patients. Ability to read and explain benefits and co-payment information. Ability to communicate effectively during difficult situations. Working knowledge of computers and demonstrated proficiency in using e-mail systems Internet and MS office software applications.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Minimum 2 years acute care experience within previous 5 years

+ Graduate of a BRN approved school of vocational nursing

+ Current California LVN license

+ CA drivers license

+ Current Automobile Insurance

+ BLS through an American Heart Association provider

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Hospice LVN experience

+ Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse

**Pay Range**

$44.37 - $48.94 /hour
