**Position Summary:**

The incumbent is responsible for preparing patients for examination, assisting the healthcare provider with medical procedures, and providing reception and clerical support, including medical record maintenance

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program.

+ BLS from the American Heart Association.

+ Ability to effectively interview patients and obtain comprehensive and accurate information.

+ Triage incoming telephone calls appropriately.

+ Display tact, discretion and confidentiality when dealing with physicians, patients and family members.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic techniques and basic medical office practices and procedures.

+ Demonstrates appropriate telephone etiquette, alphabetical and numeric filing, various billing processes and effective customer service principles.

**Pay Range**

$29.65 - $33.20 /hour
