**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Actively participate in the month end close process, including inventory balance and activity adjustments and reconciliation.

+ Assist with inventory control preparation, design, and monitoring.

+ Maintain collaborative relationships with business partners including manufacturing, quality, technical operations, and accounting peers to facilitate the inventory and cost accounting process.

+ Manage overhead product capitalization and allocations.

+ Collaborate with FP&A to complete and submit timely forecasts, annual budgets, for production volumes, purchases, CMO cost, and COGS.

+ Intercompany reconciliation and invoicing, including product cost transfer pricing.

+ Support quarterly and annual audit PBC list request.

+ Perform inventory and cost accounting monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

+ Partner with the manufacturing organization to reconcile CMO inventory reports to SAP inventory balances and activity.

+ Reconcile SAP to Oracle trial balances and generate correcting journal entries when required.

+ Analyze weighted average costs and review cost rollups for products and production operations.

+ Collaborate with supply chain to analyze inventory for possible excess and obsolete reserves.

+ Prepare ad hoc reports, perform research on cost accounting questions and contribute to projects, as needed.

+ Identify opportunities and develop new processes for increased productivity, efficiency and continuous process improvement.

**Education and Experience**

+ Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.

+ Cost Accounting Reporting experience.

+ Advanced expertise in SAP and Oracle.

+ Minimum 4 – 8 (w/o Master’s) or 2 – 4 years (with Master’s) years of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry preferred.

The base salary range for this role is $127,360 to $159,200. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut-down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
