As a **Procurement Buyer II** here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in managing and executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities. This position is critical in ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function. You will report directly to our **Procurement Manager** and you’ll work out of our **Urbana, OH** location on a **Hybrid** work schedule. You will need to work in the office the first 90 days.

In this role, you will impact the company by optimizing procurement practices, enhancing profitability, and securing a reliable and agile supply chain, making your expertise an indispensable asset to our organization's success.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

• Oversee procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.

• Monitor and control procurement costs, seeking cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation.

**YOU MUST HAVE**

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying

• Experience in managing supplier relationships

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills

• Knowledge of buying strategies, supplier relations, and cost control
